Our experience with ignition systems began in 1969 with the use of the Motoplat Ignitions in Sachs engines/Penton motorcycles. Through our Hi-Point Racing Products accessory company, we developed systems for all types and makes of engines, whether it was for performance gains or for replacement of stock parts. synthetic additives and a unique anti wear package into their MLR formula to
enhance the natural high film strength of these traditional oils while
minimizing viscosity instability, lacquer formation and corrosion associated

PVL
ignitions have been designed with performance in mind. Complete systems are available in a fixed timing analog version suitable for all displacements, or a digital version for displacements under 200cc. The lightweight rotor reduces the amount of rotating mass on the crank, allowing the engine to reach higher RPM more quickly. The non lighting systems are available for 2 & 4 stroke, single & twin cylinder, vintage to current model racing engines.
The
MZ-B ignition system is a magneto based generator with integrated fully electronic ignition, equipped with a tiny AC regulator to run lighting equipment, eliminating the need to run a battery. MZ-B external flywheel type ignitions are an analog type, CDI ignition with 80-100 watts of 12-volt lighting capacity capable of delivering up to 40,000 volts! Systems are available for Bultaco, Hercules, Hodaka, Husqvarna, KTM, Maico, Ossa, Penton, Sachs, Yamaha & Zundapp engines
